Gatefold Hobby Card

A Gatefold Hobby Card using sewing designer series paper is great for a friend who knows their way around a sewing machine! And it’s an easy fun-fold card that you can make.

There’s nothing like creating a beautiful card, especially when it’s quick and easy to make!

The papers in this stamp and dies suite are some of my favorite! There are large and small patterns with fun coordinating colors and featuring sewing, reading, growing plants, and the arts.

Paired with the designer series paper, the stamps and dies are very versatile! I can’t resist new stamps that can be used for a lot of potential creations!

How to make a Gatefold Hobby Card:

Cut your cardstock:

• Coastal Cabana: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, score at 2-1/8” from each side
• Hobby Haven DSP: (2) 5-14” x 1-7/8”. Adhere these to either side of your card front on the scored flaps.
• Petal Pink: 3” scrap for tag

Create the Tag:

• Using Secret Sea ink, stamp on the Petal Pink cardstock. Then, die-cut using the large tag.
• Apply tear tape (or any adhesive) to the back of one half of the tag. Next, stick it to the center of the closed gatefold front so it’ll only stick to one half.
• Lastly, stamp the inside of the card “you deserve all the good things” or your preferred sentiment.
