The decision to choose what designer series paper to use on a card can be difficult, but this makes that decision easier.

How to make a Bright Accordion Fold Birthday Card:

Cut your cardstock:

Misty Moonlight: 5-1/2” x 11”, scored at 1-1/4”, 4”, and 6-3/4”
DSP
- 4” x 5-1/4”
- 2-1/2” x 5-1/4”
- 1” x 5-1/4”
Basic White: 2-1/2” x 5-1/4” to write a note, and scraps for the mailbox and sentiment

Prepare your cardbase:

Using your favorite adhesive, glue down each of the designer series paper pieces to the card base. Ensure they are showing on the front of your card. I usually fold the card on the score lines first, and then glue the largest piece of designer paper down first.
Next, glue down the two remaining pieces of DSP and the white piece between the two larger pieces for your note.

Stamp and Color:

On a scrap of white cardstock, stamp the mailbox, color it with coordinating Stampin’ Blends markers, and die-cut it out.
With Misty Moonlight ink, stamp your birthday sentiment on a 1” strip of white cardstock and adhere it to the mailbox.
Lastly, adhere your mailbox to the middle flap of the Accordion Fold.
