Make a Summer Splash Monochromatic Birthday Card! With one of this years’ freshest in-colors from stampin up, coordinating designer series paper, and the Hooray for Surprises stamp set, send someone a bright and festive card!

Using not only this new color for the cardstock base, but also for the glitter paper, the ink, the ribbon, AND the coordinating DSP!

How to make your own Summer Splash Monochromatic Birthday Card:
Cut your cardstock:
- Summer Splash: 11” x 4-1/4”, scored and folded at 5-1/2”
- Basic White: 4” x 5-1/4”, and 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” square
- DSP: 4” x 3-3/4”
- Summer Splash Glimmer Paper: 3” x 3”
Create the background:
- Adhere the DSP to the bottom of your Basic White cardstock.
- Then adhere 6” of the Summer Splash ribbon to the front of this background where the DSP meets the white. Wrap it around to the back and adhere it down and adhere this background to the front of your cardbase.
Stamp the birthday feature:
- Using Summer Splash ink, stamp the birthday sentiment at the top of the white square, and then stamp a few birthday cakes below it. —If you’d like to add an extra, stamp and die-cut out another birthday cake and adhere it above the other cakes.
- Adhere this square to the glimmer paper, and then adhere it to the front of your card.
- Lastly, add a few coordinating shimmer gems!
