Starry Sky Hello Card with Monochromatic 2022-2024 In-Color

This Starry Sky Hello Card is a quick and easy card to make, and features one of my favorite fun new 2022-2024 In-Colors!

These new In-Colors from Stampin’ Up for 2022-2024 are my favorite yet! All are bright and fun together, but they are also great by themselves.

Subsequently, I wanted to make a monochromatic card with Starry Sky to show how great this deep blue/purple color can be on its own.

So I made this Hello Card! Not only does the beautiful color add to the simplicity, it’s also easy to design a project when you limit the number of colors.

If you are a part of my In-Color Club, this will be the free card I’m sending with your kits this first month!

See below for how to create this monochromatic Starry Sky Hello Card:

How to make a Starry Sky Hello Card:

Cut your cardstock:

  • Starry Sky
    • 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, folded at 4 1/4”
    • 2” square scrap for diecut
  • Basic White
    • 5 1/2” x 1 3/4”
    • 2” square scrap for diecut
  • Starry Sky DSP
    • 5 1/2” x 1 1/2”

Adhere the background strip:

  • First, glue your DSP to your Basic White strip of cardstock.
  • Then, adhere this to the left side of your card base, ensuring it’s flush at the top and bottom.

Make your Sentiment:

  • Die-cut the scallop from your Starry Sky cardstock. Discard the inner circle (or put it in your scrap pile for another project!).
  • Next, with Starry Sky ink, stamp your hello sentiment on your white scrap. Die-cut the scallop from this, and discard the outer scallop.
  • Place your stamped circle inside the scallop and use tape runner on the back to hold it together. Twirl 15” or twine around a few fingers and then stick diagonally to the back of your sentiment.
  • Lastly, adhere your sentiment with dimensions to the center of your card front.
