May Calendar – Farewell to Honey Bees
This May Calendar page was created for my bi-annual calendar class and looks awesome on my craft desk. It features a great stamp set and die bundle called Honey Bee (that is unfortunately being retired very soon).
With some gold-foiled Designer Series Paper along the bottom, this Honey Bee Calendar page uses Daffodil Delight ink to stamp the little bumble bees and Memento Black ink for the flowers coming in from the sides. The honeycomb was created with the coordinating dies and gold foil paper. Don’t forget to add in a couple of the hexagons to your honeycomb!
My Calendar classes are fun, as well as a great way to use different Designer Series Papers, learn a couple easy techniques, and to play with the latest stamps!
Interested in my calendar classes? Hopefully I can have Local Classes in time for the July-December calendar class, but regardless I will offer a “to-go” class. You will receive: the case (it holds your pages upright on your desk, but can also fold up like a CD case), the calendar pages cut to size, DSP, die-cuts, and instructions. Stamp sets will be sold separately so you can make lots more projects with your favorite sets.
To stay in the loop for my classes and events (virtual and local), visit the Facebook Page for Laura’s Craft Closet. Don’t use FB? I also post classes and events on my Stampin’ Up site: https://laurascraftcloset.stampinup.net
Supplies for Honey Bee Calendar Page
Unfortunately, this stamp set and coordinating dies we used for this Calendar page will be retiring soon. Don’t delay — for just a few more days, shop the Retiring Supplies here!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I love making cards, but our stamps and beautiful inks are great tools for other projects like this month’s calendar page! Additionally, have a look through these other projects:
