Paper Pumpkin March 2020 Alternatives
Paper Pumpkin March 2020 Alternatives to No Matter the Weather kit are a fun way to get extra creative with your monthly craft kit. Here are a few ways to use up the extra pieces and maybe even those scraps!

Here’s a few ways to get the most out of each Kit (with cute examples/recipes of course)!
Pick your favorite stamp, and stamp it MULTIPLE times!!
For the March 2020 kit, the bonus stamp set that was included had these adorable Wellies boots, so I couldn’t resist doing a rainbow (perfect with the sentiment, right?). I stamped a set in each color, and then cut them apart. Because of this, one of the rainbows goes in reverse order, but I can’t decide which one I like better! I adhered them with dimensionals to a Basic Gray layer dry embossed with the Coastal Weave embossing folder and a Daffodil yellow card base to match.

Combine your Paper Pumpkin stamps with stamps in your stash!
Next, I’ve been sending cards to the essential workers in my life who are keeping things going while many of us are staying healthy at home. I couldn’t forget my postal carrier who still brings me my stamps!

So I stamped the Front Door stamp and colored it to look similar to a door my postal carrier knows well! I used a retired stamp set called Tasty Trucks and altered it to look like a USPS truck and used dimensionals to adhere it in front of the door. I don’t often make “scenes” on my card fronts, but it sometimes pays off to step out of your comfort zone and try something different with your stamps.
Pick a leftover, and build a card around that. How about a shaker card?
Lastly, try a shaker card! I had a lot of the little die-cut hearts left over from the kit, (and I’m sure you did too!). And what makes for better shaker material?! After choosing Petal Pink to match the hearts and Balmy Blue as my color combo, this card flowed together. The sentiment? I glued white paper behind the leftover sheet of sentiment tags after I popped out all of the petal pink tags. Then I stamped “thank you kindly” on the inside before fussy-cutting it out. What a useful and pretty way to use those leftover scraps!

It’s a lot of fun to play around with the supplies we get in our Paper Pumpkin kits each month! And it definitely pulls me outside of my usual style.
