Inked Window Shaker Technique for Halloween Cards

Have you ever started to make a card and thought “This is missing something…” For this card, the window showed through to the white card stock on the inside, so why not color the plastic sheet using the Inked Window Shaker Technique?!

That’s what I did to make this Halloween window shaker card look a little more spooky. Using a regal ink, I added a little haze to the inside window, and I’ll show you how to below in the video!

The Inked Window Shaker technique is quick (although it DOES require drying time…perfect for a snack break!) and really added a little pizazz to this Halloween card.

Shaker card are fun to make, too, but it’s now easier using the new Snow Globe Shaker domes! These are easy to work with and look fantastic! There are many options for what could go into your snow globe dome!

Leaving my window sheet clear didn’t look spooky enough, so I wanted to ink it for a fun Halloween effect! Watch how to do this and craft along with this video:
