This Fall Leaves Card is my first Paper Pumpkin Alternative with the September 2025 kit, Fall For Toile. I used the repeated stamping technique and some coordinating In-Color cardstock to make this Warm Wishes card.

Fall is such a gorgeous season, and showing off those colors on a card gives a warm feeling as the crisp weather settles in.

I love changing up the kits — creating things different than the intended projects! Normally you don’t need to add additional supplies to the kit, so kits are great option for beginner stampers. If you happen to have other materials to use, it’s fun to pair them together!

To get more out of your paper pumpkin kits, pick one of these ideas: use an embossing folder, try a background stamp, give your paper a different fold, or add a coordinating cardstock for the cardbase like we did here.

How to make a Fall Leaves Card:

Cut your cardstock:

Timid Tiger: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” for cardbase, scored @4-1/4
Pecan Pie: 5-1/4” x 4”
Light Thatched cardbase from kit: 5-1/8” x 3-7/8”

Stamp:

Stamp two leaves repeatedly and randomly using Cajun Craze ink on the light thatched piece for the background.
Next, stamp your sentiment on the long banner in the kit.

Put it together:

Adhere the die-cut leaves to the lower right side of the stamped piece.
Then, wrap the ribbon — included in the kit — around the stamped piece and adhere it down. Then adhere this to the Pecan Pie layer, and adhere that to the front of the Timid Tiger cardbase.
Lastly, attach your stamped sentiment over the ribbon, and add any embellishments.
