Hanging Lemur FunFold Flap Card

A Hanging Lemur FunFold Flap Card is easy to make and is a fun way to showcase this cute animal! Creating this card with this little guy hanging onto his tree branch over the front edge is just a few techniques: cutting a front flap, stamping on designer series paper, and die-cutting.

And yes, it’s ok to stamp on designer series paper! Make it what you want!

How to make this Hanging Lemur FunFold Flap Card:

Cut your cardstock:

Smoky Slate
- 11” x 4-1/4”, score at 5-1/2”
- On a short side, mark 2” up the left side and 1” up on the right. Slice from one mark to the other.
Mossy Meadow DSP: 4” x 5-1/4”, lined up along the bottom edge and trimmed to match. Save the trimmed off piece.
Pecan Pie: 1/2” strip
Basic White: scrap for stamping the lemur.

Stamp:

Using Mossy Meadow ink, stamp the branches onto the DSP. Adhere this to the card front flap. Next, add the brown strip along the bottom and trim along the edges. With the trimmed off piece of DSP, die-cut out a few branches. Adhere these down along the brown strip.
Stamp your sentiment and the branch on the “inside” of the card that’ll show under the flap.
With Black ink, stamp the lemur. Color it in with Smoky Slate Blends markers, and then fussy cut it out. Lastly, add it along the bottom of the front flap.
