Tall Popout Gate Fold Card

A Tall Popout Gate Fold Card opens up to show beautiful designer series paper along with your feature image and a sentiment. With only two cut lines and a few score lines, this fun fold card is not difficult to make! I wrote out the directions below.

I love that this card has a larger “front” that can be opened tall to see all of it at once.

This fun-fold is very versatile, and the pack of designer series paper I used here is full of coordinating designs that can be swapped on this card for different looks.

How to make a Tall Popout Gate Fold Card:

Cut your cardstock:

Pebbled Path: 5-1/2” x 8”
- Wide: score at 2”, 4”, 6”
- Tall: cut at 1-1/4” x 4-1/4” from the 2” score line to the 6” score line
- Wide: score at 3” and 5” between your cuts
Designer Series Paper- can be one or multiple different designs
- (2) 1-7/8” x 5-3/8
- (4) 1-7/8” x 1-1/8”
TIP: This can be done with a 6”x6” sheet. Slice it into 3 strips of 1-7/8”, cut 2 down to 5-3/8” long and then cut the other one into 4 pieces 1-1/8”.
Pecan Pie Scraps
- 3” circle (OR 1-7/8” x 2-7/8” for the center piece)
- 1/2” strip for sentiment

Adhere DSP to make your Card pretty:

Adhere your 2 tall pieces of DSP to the panels on the left and right.
Next, adhere the 4 smaller pieces of DSP to the panels at the top and bottom of the center.

Stamp and put your Center Feature on:

Then, with Versamark ink, stamp the cacao beans on the Pecan Pie circle and stamp the sentiment on the strip. Sprinkle these with white embossing powder, and then heat until shiny.
Color in the beans, and adhere it to the center of your card. Lastly, adhere your sentiment to the bottom of the card front.
