Pretty Pink Christmas Card with Die-Cut Ribbon Tag

This Pretty Pink Christmas Card is made with some coordinating ribbon fed through a die-cut tag and some glimmer paper for a monochromatic holiday excitement. Here I wrote out how to create this In-Color card!

Using these die-cut tags with ribbon is a great way to showcase ribbon, too! This technique is easy to use and will become part of your crafting essentials.

How to make a Monochrome Pretty Pink Christmas Card with a Die-Cut Ribbon Tag:

Cut your cardstock:

• Pretty In Pink
  • 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” for the cardbase
  • 2” square for the tag
• Pretty In Pink striped DSP: 4” x 5-1/4”
• Basic White: 1” strip
• Pretty in Pink Glimmer Paper: 1” strip

Stamp and Die-Cut:

• With Pretty in Pink ink, stamp the snowflakes randomly around the striped designer series paper.
• With your square of Pretty in Pink cardstock, die-cut out the large tag. Turn it diamond-shaped and stamp the sentiment towards the bottom corner.
• Using your white and glimmer strips, die-cut the Christmas outline and script, respectively. Glue them together.

Put it all together:

• Slide the ribbon through the top hole of your tag towards the back, then loop it back to the front via the bottom hole. Adhere the ribbon and tag to the middle of your DSP, and after then adhere this to the front of your cardbase.
• Stick “christmas” using dimensionals to the center of the tag.
• Lastly, jazz up your card with a few coordinating embellishments.
