Colored DSP Diagonal Flap Card
A Colored DSP Diagonal Flap card is fun to make and to receive for so many occasions! This fun fold card is easy to coordinate together by coloring the designer series paper. See the tutorial below!
This tutorial will be enough DSP already cut and ready to create a second card at the same time. It’ll be similar but you can always use a different sentiment for another occasion.

I chose 2 designer series papers from the same pack (yay for coordination!) — one that is light and able to be colored and another that is darker, but feel free to use coordinating papers from different packs, too.
Coloring foiled designer series paper is so much fun and can really make a card pop! Of course it also helps you to coordinate it all together.

How to make this Colored DSP Diagonal Flap card:
Cut your cardstock:
- Highland Heather
- 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”. Then cut from the top of the score line diagonally to the opposite corner.
- 2-1/2” x 6-1/2”, scored at 3-1/4”
- DSP 1: 4” x 5-1/4”
- DSP 2: 4” x 5-1/4”
- Basic White: (2)- 2-1/4” x 3”
Color and Prepare the DSP:
- Using your favorite Stampin’ Blends, color one of the designer series paper designs to coordinate with your cardbase.
- Cut both DSP designs from the upper left corner diagonally to the lower right corner. Choose one of the designs for the front flap of your card and the other design for the “inside.” You can save the other pieces for another card of the same design or for another project.
Create and Stamp the Mini-Card:
- Using Highland Heather ink, stamp your sentiment on one of the white pieces. Adhere this to one side of your small Highland Heather cardstock. Fold it at the score line, and adhere the other white piece to the inside. Lastly, adhere this mini-card in the center of the inside for your cardbase. Fold the top of the mini-card over the cardbase flap.
