Sweet Candy Halloween Card

A sweet candy halloween card is a great way to say hello and celebrate! This card is made with stamps that aren’t explicitly holiday-themed, yet is made to look like candy corn and sweets.

With just a little bit of coloring, it’s easy to change the chips from the Taco Fiesta stamp set from Stampin Up into candy corn, which is perfect for a halloween card!

How to make this Sweet Candy Halloween Card:

Cut your cardstock:

  • Basic Black
    • 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored and folded at 4-1/4” and 2-1/8”
    • Large circle die-cut (you can also use the retired glitter black)
  • Pumpkin Pie
    • 4” x 5-1/4”
    • 1-7/8” x 5-1/4”
    • Scrap for medium circle
  • Basic White
    • 3/4” x 5”
    • 1-5/8” x 5”
    • Smaller circle for feature

Stamp and Color:

  • Repeatedly stamp the candy stamp on the narrow white piece of cardstock using black ink. Color the candies with the orange and yellow blends markers. Adhere it to the narrow orange cardstock. Then adhere this to the top of the folded black cardstock.
  • At the bottom of the larger white cardstock, stamp “sweet” using the pumpkin pie ink pad. Then stamp the chips on each side using memento ink. Next, using the orange and yellow blends markers, turn these chips into candy corn! Next adhere it to the large orange cardstock and then adhere this to the inside of the black cardstock.

Create the Featured Cola:

  • On the white circle, stamp the cola bottle using black ink. Color it in using the orange blends markers. Adhere this to the orange circle, and that to the black circle.
  • On a 1/4” strip of white cardstock, stamp “you are so” using black ink. Adhere this strip to a slightly thicker strip of orange cardstock,
  • Lastly, adhere the strip to the bottom of the bottle, and adhere the featured cola circle to the fun fold with adhesive ONLY on the top half.
