Flying Dragonfly Zfold Slit Card
A Flying Dragonfly Z-fold slit card has the dragonflies flying out of your hands! I always love a fun-fold card, especially one that makes dragonflies fly like magic.

This fun-fold card may have a similar feel to a recent card I created (with tutorial!) using a pomegranate stamp set. That’s because it is!
While a card may be made with specific colors or stamps or designer series papers, it’s a good idea to change it up with a different cardstock or set of stamps. You never know where your creativity will take you.

I did just that — changed it up — for this card. I flipped that previous z-fold slit card to fold it the other way and then added dragonflies!
TIP: Window sheets aren’t just for shaker cards; try cutting one for a magical flying element!

How to make your dragonflies fly:
Create your Z-fold slit card:
- I list the dimensions for the cardbase as well as the designer series paper in this tutorial for a similar z-fold slit card. Cut it from Petal Pink cardstock and turn it to the back to make this style with the slit on the bottom.

How to make your dragonflies fly:
- Cut 2 window sheet strips, 3” x 1/2”
- Stamp 4 dragonflies, punch them out, and then color in their wings with coordinating colors.
- Adhere 3 of the dragonflies to the window sheet strips using glue dots, and then adhere the strips to the inside of the slits, ensuring the dragonflies are within the edge of your closed card.
