If you’ve been a paper crafter for any amount of time, I’m sure you’ve also built up quite a stash of pretty papers. Namely, the papers that we are afraid to use and in time they get pushed to the back of the stash. Go ahead and use them! The more you create, the more fun projects you’ve made and the more room you’ll make for the papers you really want now!

These Medallion Gift Tags don’t take a lot of paper, but making a lot of matching ones could help clear out an overflowing stash. In addition, making a bunch of these tags will prepare you for upcoming occassions. Furthermore, they really stand out on the package!

These tags used 12″ x 12″ designer series paper, but in the video I show you how to also use 6″ x 6″ paper!

In the video tutorial, I used leftover holiday DSP; it’s paper I didn’t have “earmarked” for any project for a few months, so it was the first I grabbed and an obvious choice to use up leftovers!

First, grab some DSP and a hot glue gun, and then watch the video below!

And of course your trusty glue gun! Is it time for a new one? You can see mine is about ready to quit on me, ha ha!

These medallion tags really show off pretty designer series paper, and can double their use as tree ornaments. I have no doubt that I’ll be making more of these tags for upcoming Occassions.
