Watercolor Smooching Falling Leaves Card

Fall is here! And the leaves will start falling soon. To celebrate, I created a Falling Leaves Card using the Watercolor Smooching Technique, and want to show you how!

This technique is a lot of fun, so you’ll want to try it! It’s also time for the monthly challenge from The Joy of Sets! Here is the Tic-Tac-Toe grid designed by Angie:

What row/column/diagonal are you going to choose? I chose Leaves, Watercolor Smooching, and Emboss from this tic-tac-toe grid.

This fall color scheme was created using the Watercolor Smooching Technique. This technique is fun, and not as messy as you might think, ha ha! Give it a try!!

You may have seen some crafters put ink and water on glass, and grab the color with acetate before smooching it onto paper. This works of course, but it can be a bit messier, requires extra supplies, and gives you even less control over where the color goes.

This technique gives you rich colors and more control with the color splatters. Get your inks out and watch the video below for this Falling Leaves Card.
