Bokeh Encouragement Card and Matching Bookmark

It was easy to create this bright Bokeh Encouragement Card and matching bookmark. This would be a quick gift for your favorite student.

Last week, I showed a tutorial how to create the Bokeh effect with your paper projects, featuring some garden tags to wrap with veggies being gifted to friends and neighbors. After finishing the garden tags, I pulled out more paper and a few different colors to sponge.

I used the new “Here’s to Strong Women” stamp set from Stampin’ Up. These sentiments are amazing! These are just two of them. Check out the rest of the great sentiments in this stamp set!

If you’d like to see how to do this bokeh technique, click on the link and recreate the bokeh technique! There you will find tips on creating the bokeh technique on your own paper projects. Next thing you know, you’ll be sponging a bunch of projects!

Below are the supplies I used. As you can see, I think bright colors are a lot of fun!
