Unicorn Cake Card for a day that sparkles!
A unicorn cake was my dream for my birthday. While I was creating this unicorn cake card for the Crafting By Designs challenge, my partner brought back an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen made with my favorite blizzard (S’mores) and a unicorn made from frosting! It was so perfect, and What a coincidence!
I highly recommend cake as inspiration for crafting. 10/10 would do again.
Our sponsor for this weeks Birthday theme challenge was Oddball Art, and I created a birthday card with the unicorn marshmallow digi stamp from Lizzy Love’s Creepy Cute S’more Collage set.

See below for the steps for creating this unicorn cake card.
Steps to create this unicorn cake card:
After printing out the .png at 4″ tall onto white cardstock, Color the flowers, cheeks, ears, and around the edges with markers.
Using dimensional glue, cover the horn and draw a line over the eyelashes, and sprinkle LOTS of gold glitter on it. Shake off the excess and let it dry. Use dimensional dots to adhere the unicorn to the top of a gold-foiled card base.
Create a 1″ x 5 1/4″ banner with some matching blue cardstock. Cut a slightly more narrow banner from vellum, stamp your birthday sentiment with versamark, emboss with gold embossing powder, and adhere it with two glue dots to the blue cardstock. Adhere it to the card base with dimensionals. Cover the visible glue dots with glitter enamel dots.
Supplies:
And as usual with my card-making, I couldn’t just stop at one, so I made another unicorn card!
I hope you enjoyed these cards! Let me know if you create your own or if you decide to participate in this weeks challenge!
